The Komatsu-style belt tensioner is made from wear-resistant steel alloy with a surface hardness of 50-55 HRC, ensuring resistance to belt tensile forces up to 5 kN and operating temperatures up to 120°C. The central shaft has a diameter of 20 mm and the body length is 120 mm, with a total weight of approximately 2.5 kg. The internal compression spring operates at a stiffness of 1.2 N/mm to maintain uniform and stable belt tension throughout the operating cycle.
Connections include grade 10.9 steel bolts and vibration-resistant washers. Surface coating with hard chrome and 150-micron epoxy powder ensures corrosion, moisture, and industrial environmental resistance. Tensioner performance is guaranteed in the -20°C to 120°C range and has been tested for hydraulic leakage and mechanical resistance over 10,000 operational cycles.
