Komatsu excavator teeth are made from wear-resistant alloy steel with 56 to 60 Rockwell C hardness, with each tooth measuring 700 millimeters in length. Each tooth weighs approximately 15 kilograms and features a reinforced edge and pressure distribution grooves to reduce localized stress. Heat treatment including quenching and tempering enhances impact and fatigue resistance, extending service life under heavy working conditions up to 18 months.
The teeth include precisely drilled M20 holes for fast and secure installation on the excavator chassis. Blade geometry and side thickness reduce vibration and uneven soil pressure. The teeth have bending strength of about 750 MPa and can withstand impact forces up to 3500 Nm. Maintenance and replacement of wear parts are fast and require no specialized tools.
