Komatsu Excavator Filter Base

The filter base for Komatsu excavators is made of aluminum alloy and corrosion-resistant steel, with an overall length between 150 and 220 millimeters. The inner diameter for filter installation ranges from 60 to 90 millimeters, and wall thickness is between 5 and 8 millimeters, capable of withstanding fluid pressures up to 30 bar. The design includes optimized channels to minimize pressure drop and prevent air bubbles in the fluid flow. Connections use standard threads and heat-resistant gaskets, providing resistance to vibrations exceeding 400 Newton-meters. Anti-corrosion coating extends the service life of the filter base to over 8,000 operating hours, ensuring full compatibility with both original and compatible Komatsu filters.

The internal structure of the filter base includes a flow-guiding network to reduce fluctuations and ensure uniform fluid distribution. The weight of the base without the filter ranges from 1.2 to 1.8 kilograms, installed using two to four M10 or M12 bolts. Its modular design allows replacement of damaged components without removing the entire filter system, increasing filtration efficiency up to 95 percent. Thermal and chemical resistance of the materials ensures stable performance under harsh diesel engine conditions.
