Komatsu-6 Excavator Crankshaft Front Damper

The Komatsu-6 excavator crankshaft front damper is made of hardened alloy steel and heat- and vibration-resistant rubber. Its outer diameter is 170 millimeters, and the shaft inner diameter is 48 millimeters. The total weight of the damper is approximately 3.8 kilograms and it can absorb torque shocks up to 550 Nm. The internal multilayer design, including springs and elastomeric rubber, reduces engine vibrations up to 110 Hz. The operating temperature range is -40 to 150°C, and the exterior is coated for corrosion resistance and oil protection. This damper is designed for installation on diesel engine crankshafts of heavy machinery.

The internal structure includes a steel core, metal discs, and fatigue- and wear-resistant rubber layers. The spacing between discs and rubber thickness is precisely controlled within ±0.1 millimeters to maximize vibration absorption and service life. The damper undergoes dynamic and vibration testing according to ISO 1940 and can withstand over 100,000 operational cycles without failure. Shaft attachment uses standard bolts and keys to ensure complete stability and safe engine performance.
