The HEPCO 912 excavator exhaust is designed to efficiently channel engine gases while reducing noise and vibration in heavy-duty operating environments. It is manufactured from heat-resistant alloy steel with an Fe-Cr-Ni composition, capable of withstanding temperatures up to 700°C. The shell thickness ranges from 2 to 2.6 mm and is coated with a high-temperature silicone paint. The total exhaust length is approximately 890 mm, with an outlet diameter of 108 mm. Its multi-stage internal flow design with directional baffles minimizes back pressure and enhances combustion efficiency.
The HEPCO 912 exhaust features a dual-wall structure with 12 mm compressed fiberglass insulation to prevent heat transfer to the outer shell. The connection is reinforced with an 8 mm thick steel flange and sealed using a graphite gasket. It offers vibration resistance up to 160 Hz and corrosion endurance verified through 1000-hour salt spray testing. The total weight is around 9.6 kg, designed for direct installation onto the engine manifold. This configuration provides enhanced durability, reduced emissions, and optimized exhaust performance under demanding field conditions.
