Polishing machines

A polishing milling machine is a surface finishing machine tool designed to remove roughness and achieve fine surface quality on metal components. Polish and Brush

This dual-purpose machine features a rotating drum with a 7.5 kW inverter-driven AC motor. Drum rotation speed is digitally adjustable from 500 to 3000 RPM. The working drum dimensions are 1500 mm in length and 300 mm in diameter. A quick-change belt system enables switching from polishing to brushing in 90 seconds. It uses 0.5-micron cerium oxide particles for polishing and tungsten carbide wire brushes for brushing. A PID controller keeps the workpiece surface temperature below 50°C. This precision prevents structural alterations in the metal.

The machine structure consists of a welded steel frame with electrostatic powder coating. The particle collection system includes a cyclone and a HEPA filter with 99.97% efficiency. The drum contact force on the workpiece is pneumatically adjustable from 5 to 50 Newtons. The machine achieves surface finishes with roughness Ra from 0.05 microns polish to 0.8 microns brush. Vibratory Lapping and Polishing Machine
