New Holland B115 engine ring

The New Holland B115 engine ring is manufactured from chrome-moly steel with nickel and chrome plating to ensure high resistance to heat, wear, and corrosion. The internal diameter of the ring ranges from 115 to 116 millimeters, with a cross-sectional thickness of approximately 2.5 millimeters. The circular structure is CNC-machined with radial deviation controlled under 0.03 millimeters. The ring surface is heat-treated and hardened to 60 Rockwell C, and the friction coefficient with the cylinder ranges between 0.08 and 0.12. Oil groove design, with a depth of 0.7 to 0.9 millimeters, ensures uniform lubrication and reduces wear.

In the design of the New Holland B115 engine ring, mechanical resistance against cylinder gas pressure up to 15 MPa is guaranteed. The rings can withstand operating temperatures between -20 and 250 degrees Celsius, with thermal deformation under 0.05 millimeters. Each ring weighs approximately 0.15 to 0.18 kilograms and is mounted directly on the piston using standard grooves. Chemical resistance against engine oil and additives is guaranteed up to 95 percent, ensuring optimal performance throughout the engine’s operational life.
