Nikita Cash Drawer
The Nikita cash drawer is constructed from cold-rolled steel sheet with a thickness of 1.5 to 2 mm. Its standard capacity supports 10 to 30 kg of banknotes. It utilizes a 6-digit digital electromechanical lock or an RFID card reader system. The main body features an electrostatic powder coating with an 80-micron thickness. Hinges are made from 304 stainless steel, tested for over 100,000 open/close cycles. Common internal dimensions are 400x350x100 mm. These dimensions accommodate most international banknote sizes. The drawer employs a four-bar linkage mechanism for smooth operation.
The drawer structure consists of a main chassis and a slide-out tray with a scratch-resistant coating. Locks feature an anti-tamper system that reports three consecutive failed attempts. Some models integrate a mass detection sensor with 10-gram accuracy. Connectivity to POS systems is via USB or RS-232 ports. A digital LCD display 128x64 pixels shows the current balance. A 12V DC, 2A power adapter supplies the unit. These drawers often comply with UL 291 Level 1 security standards. The estimated mechanical lifespan of components exceeds 15 years.
