The Poliran polyethylene cross fitting is manufactured from high-density polyethylene grade PE100 with an approximate density of 0.955 g/cm³. This component is designed for four-way branching in water distribution, sewage, and pressurized irrigation systems. It provides a tensile strength of around 25 MPa and impact resistance exceeding 10 kJ/m². The operating temperature range is 0 to 40°C, and the nominal pressure rating varies between 6 and 16 bar depending on the model. Its precisely engineered angles and smooth inner walls ensure uniform flow distribution and minimize stress concentration at the branching points.
Poliran polyethylene cross fittings are available in butt-weld and electrofusion types, covering diameters from 32 to 400 mm. The butt-weld version is installed using controlled heat fusion, ensuring complete sealing and superior mechanical integrity. These fittings exhibit excellent resistance to corrosion, UV radiation, and chemical agents, offering a service life of over 50 years. Production follows ISIRI 14427 and ISO 4427 standards, ensuring dimensional precision and consistent quality across all models.
