The Mahab hydromechanical float valve features a ductile iron GGG40 body with an electrostatic epoxy coating and is designed to control water levels in tanks and reservoirs. It is available in nominal diameters from 50 to 400 millimeters, with pressure ratings from PN10 to PN16. The hydromechanical control system uses a brass or stainless steel 304 float to automatically open or close the valve. The internal diaphragm is made of reinforced NBR rubber with a temperature resistance of up to 80°C. The flanged design complies with EN 1092-2 standard, ensuring stable operation within a temperature range of 0 to 80°C.
The Mahab hydromechanical float valve operates automatically without the need for electricity or external power, using only line pressure. Its liquid-level-sensitive control mechanism regulates inflow and outflow, preventing overflow or dry operation. Hydrostatic testing is performed at 1.5 times the nominal pressure, with allowable leakage below 0.1% of rated flow. The 150 mm model weighs approximately 35 kg. A 250-micron powder epoxy coating ensures excellent resistance to corrosion and chemicals. This valve is widely used in water supply systems, treatment plants, storage tanks, and industrial cooling networks.

Before installing the Mahab hydromechanical float valve, shut off the system flow and fully release internal pressure. The valve should be installed in a horizontal or vertical position according to the manufacturer’s instructions to ensure precise operation and long service life. Flanged connections according to PN16 or ANSI standards provide secure, leak-free installation. After installation, the water level and float mechanism should be periodically checked and adjusted to optimize flow and tank filling. Observing safety guidelines, preventing hydraulic shocks, and performing routine maintenance on internal components, including the stem, diaphragm, and float mechanism, ensures extended lifespan and stable valve performance.
