The Mahab pilot operated pressure reducing valve is made of ductile iron GGG40 with an electrostatic epoxy coating and is designed for precise pressure control in water distribution systems. It is available in nominal diameters from 50 to 400 millimeters with pressure ratings from PN10 to PN25. The pilot control system, made of brass or stainless steel 304, automatically regulates outlet pressure with ±0.2 bar accuracy. The diaphragm is made of reinforced NBR or EPDM rubber with temperature resistance up to 80°C. The flanged design complies with EN 1092-2 standard, and the maximum working differential pressure between inlet and outlet is 16 bar.
The Mahab pilot operated pressure reducing valve utilizes a self-regulating hydraulic mechanism to stabilize network pressure and prevent damage to downstream equipment. Functional testing is performed at 1.5 times the nominal pressure, with allowable leakage below 0.1% of rated flow. The 150 mm model weighs approximately 38 kg. The valve can be installed either horizontally or vertically and is widely used in municipal water systems, transmission lines, treatment plants, and industrial processes. A 250-micron powder epoxy coating provides excellent corrosion resistance and extends service life beyond 25 years.
