The Farab wafer type butterfly valve Class 150 model BVW#150 is engineered for high-pressure flow regulation and shutoff applications. Its body is made of ductile iron GGG40 or carbon steel ASTM A216 WCB, rated for ASME Class 150 pressure. The disc is stainless steel, and the seat is made of EPDM or NBR elastomer for chemical and temperature resistance. The wafer design allows compact installation between flanges. Operating temperature ranges from -20°C to +200°C, with a working pressure of up to 19 bar. It is ideal for steam, oil, gas, and water systems in industrial facilities.
The Farab BVW#150 butterfly valve features a stainless steel shaft and bronze bushings to reduce friction and ensure smooth operation. The concentric sealing mechanism provides tight shutoff in both flow directions. It can be equipped with manual lever, gearbox, or pneumatic actuator. The body is coated with anti-corrosive epoxy for extended service life in aggressive environments.
