To maintain a Class 300 Kitz flanged gate valve, first shut off system flow and fully release internal pressure. Inspect the body and flanges periodically for corrosion, cracks, and leakage. Internal PTFE or graphite seals should be checked every 6–12 months and replaced if necessary. The valve stem must be lubricated with high-temperature grease up to 250°C to ensure smooth operation and a lifespan exceeding 100,000 cycles. After servicing, operate the valve several times to confirm proper function and zero leakage.
