The Kitz 2-inch Class 600 carbon steel ball valve is built with a forged carbon steel ASTM A105 body and designed per ASME B16.34 standards for high-pressure applications. It features a 316 stainless steel ball that rotates 90 degrees to fully open or close the flow. The seat is made of RPTFE or PEEK, offering excellent durability and resistance to pressure up to 100 bar and temperatures from -29°C to 250°C. The flanged ends comply with ASME B16.5 Class 600 standards, ensuring precise, leak-free installation in high-pressure industrial systems. Dual sealing at the stem and seat provides zero-leak performance and extended service life.
Depending on configuration, the valve weighs between 12 and 16 kilograms. Its heavy-duty carbon steel body is designed to withstand vibration, thermal stress, and pressure surges. The polished stainless steel ball ensures smooth and accurate operation even under harsh conditions. Suitable for steam, natural gas, oil, fuel, and high-temperature chemical services, the Kitz 2-inch Class 600 carbon steel ball valve offers superior mechanical strength, reliable sealing, and easy maintenance, making it an ideal choice for oil, gas, petrochemical, and power generation industries.

In the KITZ 2-inch Class 600 carbon steel ball valve, manufacturing follows ASME B16.34 and API 608 standards, which define design requirements, body thickness, and stress limits. The body is produced from A105 carbon steel, and hydrostatic testing is performed at roughly 1.5 times the rated pressure, reaching nearly 150 bar. Leakage testing is conducted according to API 598 using 6 to 7 bar air pressure to verify seat and ball sealing integrity. The ball is precision machined and hard chrome plated to reduce friction and ensure stable performance at operating temperatures up to 400 degrees Celsius. These combined tests and standards maintain high reliability in oil, steam, and high pressure gas systems.
