The Mahab air release valve is made of ductile iron GGG40 with internal and external electrostatic epoxy coating for corrosion and pressure resistance. It is available in nominal diameters from 25 to 300 millimeters, with pressure ratings from PN10 to PN16. The internal float is made of reinforced polyamide or stainless steel 304, ensuring precise operation in releasing trapped air. The dual or triple orifice system enables both air discharge during pipeline filling and air intake during draining. The maximum operating temperature is 80°C, and the flanged ends comply with EN 1092-2 standards.
The Mahab air release valve is designed for water transmission lines, wastewater networks, storage tanks, and pumping systems. It operates automatically without manual intervention. Hydrostatic testing is performed at 1.5 times the nominal pressure, with allowable leakage less than 0.1% of rated flow. The aerodynamic flow path minimizes pressure loss and prevents water hammer. A 250-micron powder epoxy coating extends service life to over 20 years. The 100 mm model weighs approximately 18 kg.

Before installing and using Mahab air valves, the system flow and pressure must be fully shut off and released. Pipes and connection points should be inspected for cracks or physical damage to prevent leaks or failures. The valve must be installed in the correct position to ensure optimal air release and prevent negative pressure. During operation, avoid applying shocks or excessive pressure to the valve body. Routine maintenance, including inspection of the internal mechanism, cleaning, and replacement of worn parts, ensures long service life and stable performance. Following these safety guidelines prevents network damage and maintains optimal efficiency in water and wastewater systems.
