The Kitz 2-inch Class 150 flanged gate valve is manufactured with a steel or ductile iron body, rated for Class 150 pressure according to ASME B16.34 standards. It operates as a gate valve with a linear sliding disc mechanism, providing full open or closed flow control and is not suitable for throttling. Internal components, including the disc and seat, are made of stainless steel or bronze for corrosion and wear resistance, with an operating temperature range of 0°C to 300°C. The flanged connection conforms to ASME B16.5, EN1092-2, or JIS B2220 standards, allowing secure and fast installation between standard flanged pipelines. Internal sealing with high-performance washers minimizes leakage and ensures quiet, reliable operation.
Depending on body material, the valve weighs between 7 and 12 kilograms. The body and disc withstand pressure surges and impacts, making it suitable for water, steam, oil, and industrial fluids. Flanges with standard bolt patterns and corrosion-resistant coating ensure quick installation and long-term protection. The Kitz 2-inch Class 150 flanged gate valve provides long service life, easy maintenance, and reliable operation, making it an ideal choice for water, wastewater, power plants, and medium-pressure industrial pipelines.
