The Mahab dismantling joint is made of ductile iron GGG40 with electrostatic epoxy coating and is designed to facilitate the installation and removal of components in pressurized pipelines. It is manufactured in nominal diameters from 80 to 2000 millimeters with pressure ratings from PN10 to PN25. Main components include the body, adjustable sleeve, end flange, and galvanized steel bolts and nuts. The sealing gaskets are made of NBR or EPDM rubber with temperature resistance up to 80°C. The flanged design complies with EN 1092-2 standard and allows axial adjustment up to ±25 millimeters, making installation easier and faster.
The Mahab dismantling joint is used between valves, flanges, and pumps in water supply, wastewater, and power plant systems. It enables quick disassembly of components without cutting the pipeline. Hydrostatic testing is performed at 1.5 times the nominal pressure, with allowable leakage below 0.1% of rated flow. The 300 mm model weighs approximately 46 kg. A 250-micron powder epoxy coating provides excellent corrosion resistance and extends service life beyond 25 years. The joint is designed and manufactured in compliance with ISO 2531 and EN 14525 standards.
