The Kitz flanged gate valve is manufactured with a steel or ductile iron body, rated for nominal pressures of PN16 to PN40. It operates as a gate valve with a linear sliding disc mechanism, providing full open or closed flow control and is not suitable for throttling. Internal components, including the disc and seat, are made of stainless steel or bronze to resist corrosion and wear, with a working temperature range of 0°C to 300°C. The flanged design conforms to EN1092-2, ANSI B16.5, or JIS B2220 standards, allowing seamless installation between standard pipeline flanges. Internal sealing with high-performance washers minimizes leakage, ensuring silent and reliable operation.
Depending on nominal size DN50–DN600, the valve weight ranges from 15 to 350 kilograms. The body and disc design provides resistance to pressure surges and impacts, making it suitable for water, steam, compressed air, oil, and chemical pipelines. The Kitz flanged gate valve is designed and manufactured according to international standards to ensure safe operation and long service life.
