hotel porcelain- Salt shaker
Hotel porcelain salt shakers are manufactured from feldspathic porcelain with water absorption below 0.5 percent and a dense structure. The firing process is carried out at temperatures between 1350 and 1400 degrees Celsius. Final density ranges from 2.3 to 2.5 grams per cubic centimeter. Flexural strength typically ranges from 80 to 90 megapascals, and surface hardness is approximately 6 on the Mohs scale. A transparent or matte glaze layer with thickness of 0.2 to 0.3 millimeters is applied. Standard dimensions are designed within 60 to 100 millimeters in height and 40 to 60 millimeters in diameter.
The structure consists of a cylindrical or conical body with a perforated metal or ceramic cap. The number of dispensing holes usually ranges from 3 to 7 with diameters between 1 and 2 millimeters. Wall thickness is generally selected between 3 and 5 millimeters to balance weight and mechanical strength. Thermal shock resistance is evaluated within a temperature differential of 100 to 140 degrees Celsius. The glazed surface exhibits near zero porosity and chemical resistance within a pH range of 3 to 11. Quality control includes dispensing uniformity testing, water absorption measurement, and cap fitting inspection.
