The Komatsu piston rotor is a critical component in axial piston hydraulic pumps, designed to convert rotational motion of the shaft into high-pressure oil flow. The rotor is made of alloy steel with precise heat treatment, offering high resistance to wear, pressure, and fatigue. The number of pistons typically ranges from 7 to 12, and the piston stroke with precise machining tolerances minimizes internal leakage and achieves volumetric efficiency above 92 percent. This component is suitable for heavy Komatsu machinery, hydraulic excavators, and loaders, operating reliably at pressures from 250 to 350 bar.

Structurally, the rotor consists of a central steel body, precise grooves for pistons, oil channels for lubrication, and uniform contact with the swash plate and cam ring. Pistons are stabilized with durable bushings and return springs. Rotor installation into the pump cylinder block requires no additional modifications. Operating temperature ranges from -20 to 120°C, and service life exceeds 10,000 hours under standard conditions.
