YAMAHA XMAX motorcycle tire
The Yamaha XMAX tubeless motorcycle tire is engineered for the relatively high weight, acceleration and braking loads of a premium maxi-scooter. Original XMAX tires use a tubeless construction designed to provide stable handling, predictable cornering and reliable road contact. Tire performance depends on several engineering parameters, including rubber compound, carcass construction, cord arrangement, sidewall stiffness and tread geometry. A properly formulated rubber compound must resist abrasion, heat buildup and repeated deformation during urban and highway riding. The tread pattern also controls water evacuation and affects grip on wet asphalt. When comparing an original Yamaha XMAX tire with a Chinese-pattern replacement, dimensional compatibility alone is not sufficient. Load index, speed rating, construction type and manufacturing quality should also match the motorcycle requirements.
