Wagon drills
A drill wagon is a self-propelled drilling platform equipped with dual hydraulic booms capable of drilling 36 to 60 holes simultaneously. Constructed from wear-resistant Weldox 700 steel 700 MPa tensile strength with a total weight of 25 to 50 tons. Drilling booms offer a depth range of 3 to 6 meters with positioning accuracy of ±2 cm and 360-degree rotation. The pneumatic system operates at 7–10 bar pressure, supporting 40–60 rock drills with impact energy of 300–500 joules. Powered by Cummins or Caterpillar diesel engines 300–500 HP providing travel speeds of 10–15 km/h.
Features an articulated chassis with 8-meter turning radius and hydropneumatic suspension for rough terrain. The operator cabin includes 85 dB acoustic insulation, ISO 23861 air filtration, and multi-touch displays for drilling parameter control. An auto-drill system with GPS and laser sensors executes drill patterns with 99% accuracy. Fuel consumption ranges from 15–25 liters per hour, designed for continuous 16-hour operation in mining shifts. Certified per CE, ISO 9001:2015, and MSHA standards for safety in underground mining and tunneling applications.
