Rotating 2006 Antenna
The Model 2006 motorized antenna utilizes a 24V DC stepper motor with 3.5 Nm torque and speed control from 0 to 15 degrees per second. This system provides full support for UHF 470-860 MHz and VHF 174-230 MHz bands. Antenna gain reaches 14 dBi at the UHF mid-band and 10 dBi in the VHF band. Input impedance is 75 ohms using low-loss RG-11 coaxial cable. Continuous 360-degree rotation with 0.5-degree positioning accuracy is provided by an internal optical encoder. The antenna structure is made of 6061-T6 aluminum alloy with anti-corrosion polyurethane coating. Structural wind resistance is certified for speeds up to 120 km/h. The main reflector arm measures 120 cm in length with a 4 cm cross-section diameter. The controller supports command input via RS-485 protocol or an infrared interface.
The mechanical structure incorporates a 50 mm stainless steel spherical bearing supporting an axial load of 100 kg. A direct grounding system with less than 3 ohms resistance is implemented for lightning protection. A Low-Noise Amplifier with 1.2 dB noise figure and 20 dB gain is housed in the base compartment. The output connector is an N-Type Female with a silicone sealing washer. Power for the motor and amplifier is supplied by a 24V 5A adapter. This antenna can program and store up to 10
