Pressed wire rope sling
The pressed wire rope sling is an industrial lifting tool designed for safe handling of heavy loads. It is manufactured from steel wire rope with either steel or fiber core, offering tensile strength between 1570 and 1960 newtons per square millimeter. Sling diameters typically range from 6 to 40 millimeters. Standard safety factors of 5 to 1 or 6 to 1 are applied. Cold pressing with aluminum or steel ferrules creates a permanent and uniform connection. Load capacity can exceed 30 tons depending on diameter.
Structurally, both ends of the sling are formed as pressed eyes or fitted with industrial shackles and hooks. Sling length is customized according to order and EN 13414 standards. Wire surfaces are protected using hot dip galvanizing or industrial lubrication. Uniform stress distribution prevents localized fatigue and failure. The sling operates reliably within temperatures from minus 40 to plus 200 degrees Celsius. It is widely used in steel oil gas port and heavy construction industries.
