Plate Feeding
The pan feeder is a mechanical device used in poultry farming systems for uniform feed distribution and reduced feed waste. The pan diameter typically ranges from 300 to 450 mm, with feed storage capacity between 1 and 3 kg. The body is made of reinforced polypropylene or impact- and corrosion-resistant plastic. Feeder height is adjustable from 50 to 150 mm and can serve 30 to 60 birds per unit. Feed distribution is performed by gravity or automatic systems, providing high mechanical resistance to pressure and wear.
Structurally, the pan feeder consists of a main pan, feed storage hopper, support base, and feed level adjustment mechanism. The pan edge design prevents feed spillage and ensures uniform distribution. It connects to automatic feeding lines through feed transfer pipes and allows easy cleaning and disinfection.
