The nipple drinker is an automatic water supply system used in poultry farms to provide hygienic water and control consumption. Operating pressure ranges from 0.1 to 0.4 MPa. Flow rate per nipple is designed between 50 and 120 ml per minute. The nipple body is made of stainless steel or corrosion resistant engineering plastic. Water transfer pipe diameter typically ranges from 20 to 25 mm. Each nipple can supply water for 8 to 12 birds. The operating system is based on a pressure sensitive valve activated by beak contact.
Structurally, the nipple drinker includes an internal valve, moving pin, sealed body, and water distribution pipe. The sealing design prevents water leakage and environmental contamination.
