Gates AX40 V-belt
The Gates AX40 V-belt is a cogged type, designed under the narrow-section A series with an X profile. The top width of the belt is 13 mm and the height is approximately 8 mm. The internal length of this belt is 1016 mm, while the external length is about 1045 mm. Its cogged inner structure reduces slippage, improves flexibility, and enhances power transmission efficiency up to 98 percent. Manufactured according to international RMA and ISO standards, this belt ensures reliable operation in temperatures ranging from -30 to +90 degrees Celsius.
The tensile strength of the Gates AX40 V-belt is provided by reinforced polyester cords, enabling a transmission capacity of up to 4.5 kW at medium speeds. The neoprene rubber used in its construction has a hardness of approximately 70 Shore A, ensuring both durability and flexibility. This belt is suitable for light to medium-duty industrial applications such as centrifugal pumps, industrial fans, agricultural machinery, and small compressors. Reduced vibration and low noise generation are among its key structural advantages.
