6mm hex bolt

The 6 mm iron hex screw is produced both as a full gear according to the DIN933 standard and as a half gear according to the DIN931 standard. Grades 4.8 with tensile less than 400 newtons/mm2 and grade 5.6 with tensile less than 500 newtons/mm2 are the most widely used in the production of 6 mm full gear iron hex screws. Due to the low tensile strength, 6 mm iron screws are often used in industrial joints with low tensile stresses. This all-gear hexagon screw is sometimes engaged in the work piece and in most cases, it is connected with a simple DIN934 standard hexagon nut.

class 10.9 partially threaded hex bolt

DIN933 hex bolt

Hex screws are produced as full thread according to DIN933 standard. All-thread hex bolts are produced in different sizes from M3 to M36 and are connected together with DIN934 simple hex nuts. Full thread hexagon screws are produced in iron grades 4.8, 5.6, dry steel grade 8.8, structural steel grade 10.9 and 12.9. The stainless steel grades of all-round hexagon screws include A2 and A4 grades, which A2 grade is made of 304 steel and A4 grade is made of 316 steel.
