Crane shoe brake pads are made from a combination of organic and mineral materials designed to withstand high pressure and extend service life. These pads can endure operating temperatures up to 500 degrees Celsius, and their wear rate is recorded at less than 0.08 millimeters per 1,000 kilometers. The pad structure consists of carbon fibers, phenolic resin, and metal particles, providing optimal mechanical and thermal resistance while preventing thermal cracking.

The compressive strength of crane shoe brake pads reaches up to 28 megapascals, and surface hardness varies between 68 and 82 Rockwell C. Surface groove design enhances ventilation, reducing operating temperature by up to 15 percent. These pads can withstand dynamic forces exceeding 2,000 newtons and maintain stable performance in humid and dusty environments. Their lifespan in heavy industrial crane brake systems is estimated at up to 85,000 braking cycles.
