The Gates BX180 V-belt is a cogged type, manufactured in the narrow-section B series with an X profile. The top width of the belt is 17 mm and the height is about 11 mm. The internal length of this belt is 4572 mm, while the external length is approximately 4630 mm. Its cogged inner structure improves flexibility, reduces slippage, and increases power transmission efficiency up to 97 percent. Designed in compliance with international RMA and ISO standards, this belt operates reliably within a temperature range of -30 to +90 degrees Celsius.
The tensile strength of the Gates BX180 V-belt is provided by reinforced polyester cords, allowing a transmission capacity of up to 25 kW at medium speeds. The neoprene rubber used in the belt has a hardness of about 70 Shore A, creating a balance between durability and flexibility.
