Galvanized steel chains are manufactured from carbon steel grade C50 or A8 with a tensile strength of 800–900 N/mm². Wire diameters range from 6 to 30 mm with a pitch length approximately 3.2 to 3.6 times the wire diameter. Minimum breaking force varies from 25 to 550 kN depending on chain size. Working Load Limit is calculated with a 4:1 safety factor for general use and 5:1 for critical operations. The galvanizing process uses hot-dip or electro-galvanizing methods with a coating thickness of 20 to 100 microns. The galvanized coating is certified per ISO 1461 for resistance to atmospheric corrosion and moisture.
The chain structure features resistance welded links with full circumferential flash butt welding. Links are designed in a standard oval shape with a 60-degree internal attachment angle for even load distribution. Post-heat treatment surface hardness is maintained between 30 to 35 HRC Rockwell C. The galvanized coating provides uniform coverage with high adhesion Grade 1 and wear resistance. These chains are suitable for operating temperatures from –40°C to 200°C in humid, marine, and mild chemical environments. Production complies with ISO 1834 Grade 8 and DIN 766 standards for industrial, agricultural, marine, and safety applications. You can order and buy Galvanized high carbon chain from Iran by contacting us through whatsaap and email.

Difference Between Hot-Dip and Cold Galvanized Chains
The hot-dip galvanizing process involves fully immersing the chain in molten zinc at about 450°C. This method creates a thick, uniform coating with excellent adhesion. Corrosion resistance in this type is very high, up to 5 times that of cold galvanizing. Cold galvanizing or electroplating applies a thinner zinc coating. This method provides a smoother, shinier appearance but offers less abrasion and corrosion resistance. Hot-dip is ideal for corrosive and outdoor environments like marine and mining. Cold galvanizing is more suitable for indoor environments with low corrosion and for decorative purposes. The production cost of hot-dip is usually higher, but its durability is significantly greater.
