Choosing the right hex Bolt and nut A lot of factors are important to choosing the right bolt and nut . some of these factors basically determine the the the dimensions, the length and the diameter. some determine the material and the suitable standard and some the type of coating or finishing.

In hot and mildly humid areas using Galvanized and hot deep galvanized hex bolts and nuts is suitable. how ever in highly humid areas or the areas where acid and ammonium is significantly used galvanized coating would not last long and using Stainless steel bolt and nut is highly recommended
