102 Engine Belt Tensioner

The 102 engine belt tensioner features an anodized aluminum body with a tensile strength exceeding 1200 N. Its main shaft has a diameter of 20 mm and can withstand radial loads up to 450 N. The internal bearing is a deep groove type, operating at a maximum speed of 6000 RPM with permanent lubrication. The roller contact surface, made of engineered nylon, resists wear and heat up to 120°C. The coil spring design maintains optimal belt tension within a ±15% range, ensuring a service life of up to 120,000 kilometers.

The tensioner structure includes an integrated chassis, steel mounting base, and a replaceable roller. The overall weight is approximately 1.2 kg, with dimensions of 85×60×50 mm. The base is mounted at a 45-degree angle for optimal force distribution. The self-adjusting system with ±8 mm travel absorbs engine vibrations and reduces excess pressure on the belt bearing. The roller surface, hardened to 58 HRC, is coated with chrome for corrosion and oxidation resistance. This design enhances power transmission efficiency and reduces timing belt wear.
