The Farab rubber seated gate valve model GSS16 is designed for full shutoff in water distribution, wastewater, and non-corrosive fluid systems. The body is made of ductile iron GGG40 with a nominal pressure rating of PN16, and the ductile iron gate is fully encapsulated with molded EPDM rubber to provide 100% sealing and high resistance to wear and corrosion. Flanged ends are manufactured according to EN 1092-2, and overall dimensions comply with DIN 3202 standards. The valve operates up to 80°C temperature and 16 bar pressure, making it suitable for municipal networks and treatment facilities.
The Farab GSS16 gate valve features a straight-through bore design to minimize pressure loss during flow. The stainless steel stem ensures durability, while NBR O-rings provide reliable stem sealing. The bolted bonnet allows easy maintenance and inspection access. The resilient rubber-coated gate prevents leakage and eliminates water hammer effects during closure. Each valve undergoes hydrostatic and leakage testing in accordance with API 598 standards to ensure safe operation, long service life, and complete sealing performance.
