The elevator car is constructed from aluminum composite panels with high-density polyethylene core or pre-painted galvanized steel, 2–4 mm thick. Standard internal dimensions range from 1100x1400 mm to 2400x2700 mm with ceiling heights of 2200–2800 mm. Load capacity varies from 450 to 3000 kg, designed with a 1.25 safety factor per EN 81-20 standards. The car floor uses porcelain ceramic tiles 8 mm thick with anti-slip coating achieving a friction coefficient of 0.8. Interior walls are clad with 316L stainless steel sheets 1.5 mm thick featuring mirror bead-blasted or patterned finishes. All joints utilize A2-70 stainless steel bolts and silicone sealants with thermal resistance from –250°C to +300°C.

The car frame consists of welded steel profiles with 355 MPa yield strength and 60-micron electrostatic epoxy coating. The suspension system includes four to six guide shoes with graphite-reinforced polyamide low-friction material coefficient 0.05. The car door is a two-panel automatic type with a 140W synchronous motor, opening speeds of 0.35–0.75 m/s, and infrared safety sensors. The car roof features a 600x800 mm safety hatch supporting 120 kg weight and integrated 36V LED lighting with Color Rendering Index CRI above 90. The floor integrates load cells with ±0.25% accuracy and an automatic re-leveling system with ±1.5 mm precision. Manufacturing complies with EN 13501-1 fire resistance, ISO 4190-6 dimensions, and ASME A17.1 safety certification standards.

Elevator Cabin Safety System

The elevator cabin safety system is a set of critical mechanisms designed to protect passengers. The safety brake governor locks the cabin onto the guide rails in case of overspeed. The buffer system at the pit absorbs impact energy during emergency landings. Interlocking doors prevent accidental opening while the cabin is in motion. The overload limiter prevents cabin movement if the load exceeds capacity. An emergency stop button inside the cabin and machine room allows for immediate halting. An emergency communication system such as an intercom or alarm is mandatory for calling help. Emergency lighting and fan activate during power outages. These systems are designed and periodically tested in accordance with the EN 81-20 standard.
