The Komatsu dump truck injector pump is made of high-strength alloy steel and can withstand operating pressures up to 2200 bar. The pump delivers diesel fuel at a flow rate of 150 L/min with milliliter-level precision to the engine injectors. Its overall length is 320 millimeters, and the body diameter is 120 millimeters, allowing direct mounting on the engine. The internal shaft is designed to withstand a torque of 450 N·m, and the internal surfaces are precisely finished to reduce friction and extend service life. The pump has been tested to endure burst pressures up to 3000 bar and maintains stable performance in ambient temperatures from -20 to 85°C.

The injector pump is compatible with fuel systems of Komatsu heavy-duty dump truck diesel engines. It weighs 18 kilograms, and its ergonomic design allows easy installation and maintenance. Pressure and fuel flow control valves are engineered to maintain injection accuracy within 0.1 milliliters. The internal lubrication system, operating at 25 bar, prevents premature wear. Injector pump components include piston, bush, camshaft, control valve, and main body, manufactured from hardened steel and wear-resistant alloys. Service life ranges from 2,000 to 15,000 hours, and hard chrome or nickel coatings are applied to reduce wear and friction.

Assembly is performed with precise tolerances, and non-destructive testing NDT such as ultrasonic and radiographic inspection is conducted. Fuel inlet and outlet systems comply with SAE and DIN standards, with pump performance verified via hydrodynamic and pressure testing. Design follows ISO 9001, DIN 51502, and SAE J967 standards to ensure injection accuracy and continuous operation.
