Komatsu excavator buckets
Komatsu excavator buckets are made from chrome-molybdenum steel with a surface hardness of 55-60 HRC, ensuring resistance to wear and repeated impacts from soil and rock for up to 10,000 operational hours. Bucket lengths range from 500 to 1200 mm, widths from 150 to 400 mm, and wall thicknesses from 20 to 50 mm depending on the excavator model. The cutting edge is designed with a 45-degree angle and curved profile to improve soil penetration and increase digging efficiency by up to 20%.
The bucket attachment system includes steel bolts and pins with 1000 MPa tensile strength and a standard spacing of 200 mm. Surface treatment with nitriding and 200-micron epoxy coating ensures corrosion and industrial moisture resistance. Impact and mechanical load testing up to 50 kN is performed, guaranteeing operational life of over 8 years under harsh environmental conditions.
