Round Polyurethane Strap

Round polycord belt, also known as polyurethane round belt, is a thermoplastic elastomer drive belt designed for light to medium load applications. It is extruded in circular cross-sections with standard diameters ranging from 2 mm to 20 mm. The material typically has a hardness between 85 and 95 Shore A and a tensile strength of approximately 40 to 60 MPa. Operating temperature range is from -20°C to +80°C, making it suitable for both indoor and semi-industrial environments. The belt supports thermal welding, allowing seamless loop creation without disassembling the machinery. It exhibits high resistance to abrasion, oils, and mild chemicals.

The initial elongation required during installation is generally between 5% and 8% of the total belt length to ensure sufficient tension and prevent slippage. Maximum allowable linear speed can reach up to 25 meters per second in properly aligned systems. These belts are ideal for conveyors, packaging lines, sorting machines, and textile machinery. Their excellent flexibility and low noise operation make them highly effective in confined spaces.
