The PU 80A poly cord belt is manufactured from polyurethane with a Shore A hardness of 80 and is designed for light to medium-duty industrial applications. It is available in diameters ranging from 3 to 15 millimeters with a tensile strength of approximately 28 Newtons per square millimeter. The operating temperature range is minus 30 to plus 75 degrees Celsius, making it suitable for a wide variety of transmission systems. High flexibility and adequate abrasion resistance extend service life under continuous operating conditions.
The PU 80A poly cord belt is supplied in roll lengths and can be end-to-end welded using dedicated thermal welding equipment. The minimum recommended pulley diameter is 10 times the belt cross-sectional diameter. This feature reduces stress concentration and prevents tearing under cyclic loading. Lightweight construction, quick installation, and vibration-free performance are key advantages of this belt. It is widely used in light conveyors, packaging machinery, and industrial assembly lines.
