Gates BX97 V-belt

The Gates BX97 V-belt is made of polyurethane reinforced with polyester fibers, providing a tensile strength of up to 1200 N/cm. Its width is 25 mm, with an effective length of 97 inches, capable of transmitting up to 5.5 kW at 1500 RPM. The V-shaped groove design reduces slippage and increases torque transmission efficiency up to 98%. This belt’s thermal resistance ranges from -30°C to +90°C, ensuring stable performance under varying environmental conditions.

The BX97 belt’s reinforcing fibers offer high flexibility and bending fatigue resistance, extending its service life up to 10,000 operating hours under medium load. The polyurethane outer layer resists wear, oil, and dust. It can withstand sudden acceleration and impact loads, making it suitable for light to medium industrial power transmission applications.
