Gates BX24 V-belt

The Gates BX24 V-belt is made of polyurethane reinforced with polyester fibers, providing a tensile strength of up to 650 N/cm. Its width is 10 mm, with an effective length of 24 inches, capable of transmitting up to 2.2 kW at 1200 RPM. The V-shaped grooves reduce slippage and increase torque transmission efficiency up to 96%. This belt has thermal resistance from -30°C to +90°C, ensuring stable performance under varying environmental conditions.

The BX24 belt’s reinforcing fibers offer high flexibility and bending fatigue resistance, extending its service life up to 8,000 operating hours under medium load. The polyurethane outer layer resists wear, oil, and dust. It can withstand sudden acceleration and impact loads, making it suitable for light to medium industrial power transmission applications. Full compliance with DIN 2215 and ISO 4184 standards ensures complete compatibility with V-shaped pulleys.
