Gates AX30 V-belt

The Gates AX30 V-belt is a cogged type, belonging to the narrow-section A series with an X profile. The top width of the belt is 13 mm and the height is approximately 8 mm. The internal length of the belt is 762 mm, while the external length is close to 790 mm. The cogged inner design improves heat dissipation and increases flexibility when used with smaller pulleys. The power transmission efficiency of this model is measured up to 98 percent and it is suitable for operating temperatures ranging from -30 to +90 degrees Celsius.

The tensile strength of the Gates AX30 V-belt is significantly enhanced by reinforced polyester cords, providing a transmission capacity of about 3.5 kW at medium speeds. The hardness of the neoprene rubber is approximately 70 Shore A, ensuring a balance between flexibility and durability. This belt is specifically designed for light industrial equipment such as small pumps, axial fans, agricultural machinery, and low-power compressors. Reduced vibration and low noise levels are also considered major structural advantages of this belt.
