A welded flat bar is a flat steel section produced by longitudinal or transverse joining of steel sheet through resistance welding or laser welding processes. It is usually made from carbon steel with a carbon content between 0.15 and 0.30 percent and has a tensile strength of 370 to 520 megapascals. The width of the welded flat bar typically ranges from 20 to 200 millimeters, with a thickness between 2 and 10 millimeters. Dimensional tolerance is maintained at ±0.5 millimeters in width and ±0.2 millimeters in thickness. The surface can be supplied as hot rolled black or with a galvanized coating.

In the production of welded flat bars, quality control tests such as tensile testing, bending tests, and magnetic particle inspection of the weld are applied. The hardness of this product is in the range of 120 to 180 Brinell, with the ability for cold bending and precise punching. Welded flat bars are supplied in lengths of 6 to 12 meters or in coil form and are manufactured in accordance with standards such as ASTM A569 and DIN EN 10111, ensuring dimensional accuracy and surface quality.
