The 200X12 Chinese Fardo woven industrial hemp brake lining, asbestos-free, is manufactured from a precise combination of hemp or aramid fibers, phenolic resins, and mineral fillers. Its woven structure ensures uniform heat distribution and reduces stress concentration on the contact surface. Wear resistance is approximately 0.30 mm per 1000 cycles, with a friction coefficient ranging from 0.33 to 0.40 in dry conditions and 0.27 to 0.33 in oily environments. The production process involves fiber weaving, resin impregnation, and hydraulic pressing at 160–180 °C under 5–8 MPa pressure, providing strong adhesion and high mechanical durability.
This lining is capable of operating in both dry and oil-lubricated conditions and can withstand working temperatures between 80 and 260 °C. Short-term thermal shock tolerance up to 300 °C and vibration resistance up to 15 Hz ensure stable performance of brake and clutch systems. Uniform heat distribution, noise and vibration reduction, and chemical resistance against industrial oils are additional technical advantages.
Mechanically, the 200X12 Fardo asbestos-free lining can tolerate dynamic load peaks up to 2.5 MPa. The woven structure reduces disc or drum wear and maintains a consistent friction coefficient even under continuous operating cycles. Using asbestos-free materials ensures workplace safety, while high durability minimizes maintenance frequency and enhances industrial equipment efficiency.
