The 150X12 Chinese Fardo woven industrial hemp brake lining is engineered from a precise combination of hemp or aramid fibers, phenolic resins, and mineral fillers. The manufacturing process involves organized fiber weaving, resin impregnation, and hydraulic pressing at 160–180 °C under 5–8 MPa pressure. This process ensures strong adhesion between fibers and friction particles, uniform heat distribution, and reduced stress concentration on the contact surface. With a thickness of 12 mm and a length of 150 mm, the lining allows precise installation in industrial brake and clutch systems. Wear resistance measures approximately 0.28 mm per 1000 cycles, with a friction coefficient of 0.33–0.40 in dry conditions and 0.27–0.33 in oily environments.
This lining can operate reliably in both dry and oil-lubricated conditions and withstands operating temperatures between 80 and 260 °C. Short-term thermal shock tolerance up to 300 °C and vibration resistance up to 15 Hz ensure stable performance of brake and clutch systems. The woven structure reduces disc or drum wear while distributing force and heat evenly. Asbestos-free materials, chemical resistance against oils and industrial fluids, and high mechanical durability enhance equipment efficiency, operational safety, and long service life.
