Chain slings are constructed from alloy steel chain links of grade 80 or 100 800–1000 N/mm² tensile strength. Chain diameters range from 6 to 32 mm with standard lengths of 1 to 10 meters. Minimum Breaking Force varies from 28 to 800 kN depending on diameter and leg configuration. Working Load Limit is calculated with a 4:1 safety factor for grade 80 and 5:1 for grade 100 per EN 818 standards. All fittings hooks, nuts, and connectors are forged steel with hardness of 38–42 HRC. Each sling undergoes non-destructive proof loading up to 1.5 times WLL before release.

The sling structure features one to four chain legs with end fittings such as grab hooks or clevis hooks. Intermediate fittings include forged alloy steel master links and gathering rings. The surface coating of chains and fittings is hot-dip galvanized 60–80 microns for corrosion resistance. The included angle for multi-leg slings is limited to 90 degrees with a 1.4 reduction factor. These slings are suitable for operating temperatures from –40°C to 200°C and abrasive environments.
