The Bonfiglioli bevel gearbox series A is a right-angle shaft-mounted unit featuring spiral bevel gears designed for high-torque transmission in heavy industrial systems. Its housing is made of ductile cast iron with a ribbed design for enhanced heat dissipation and structural rigidity. The output torque range is between 100 and 14,000 newton-meters, with gear ratios from 5 to 1000. The gears are manufactured from case-hardened alloy steel, ground to DIN 6 precision. Mechanical efficiency reaches up to 96 percent, and tapered roller bearings provide superior load-carrying capacity. Dual-lip seals effectively prevent oil leakage and particle ingress, ensuring extended service life.

The Bonfiglioli A-series gearbox is produced using CNC precision machining and controlled heat treatment to improve wear resistance and shaft alignment accuracy. The operating temperature range is from minus 25 to plus 120 degrees Celsius, with stable performance at higher temperatures when using ISO VG 220 synthetic oil. It supports six mounting orientations and can be coupled with IEC standard or flange-mounted motors. The compact alloy housing minimizes weight and vibration at high speeds. This series is widely used in steel plants, cement processing, conveyor systems, and heavy-duty industrial machinery.
