Yilmaz KR Bevel Right-Angle Gearbox with Hollow Shaft Output

The Yilmaz KR bevel right-angle gearbox is engineered with a 90-degree configuration for precise power transmission and low operating noise. It features a hollow shaft output allowing direct coupling to the driven shaft. Output torque ranges from 120 to 9500 Nm, while input power can reach up to 55 kW. The reduction ratio varies from 5:1 to 25:1 for single-stage units and up to 120:1 for two-stage models. The bevel gears are made from alloy steel 20MnCr5, hardened to 58 HRC, and ground to DIN 6 accuracy standards.

The KR gearbox housing is manufactured from ductile cast iron EN-GJS-400, providing tensile strength of 400 N/mm² and high radial load capacity. The bearing system uses tapered roller bearings from SKF, and lubrication is achieved through oil circulation using ISO VG220 industrial lubricant. It has an IP55 protection class and operates reliably between −15°C and +50°C. Both horizontal and vertical mounting with IEC standard flange are supported. This gearbox is commonly used in conveyors, mixers, and angular transmission machinery.
