The Mahab safety relief valve is designed to protect pressurized systems and is constructed from ductile iron GGG40 with an electrostatic epoxy coating. It is available in nominal diameters from 25 to 300 millimeters and can withstand pressures up to 25 bar. The internal spring is made of stainless alloy steel with a tensile strength above 850 MPa, allowing opening pressure adjustment between 1 and 20 bar. The seat and disc are made of stainless steel 304 with NBR or EPDM sealing to ensure leak-free performance. The flanged design complies with EN 1092-2 standard, and the valve operates at temperatures up to 120°C.
The Mahab safety relief valve operates automatically to release excess pressure and prevent equipment damage. Moving parts are manufactured with ±0.2 mm precision, and performance testing is carried out at 1.5 times the nominal pressure. The valve weighs approximately 28 kg at 100 mm size. Its self-return mechanism enables quick closure after pressure normalization. A 250-micron powder epoxy coating provides excellent resistance to wear and chemicals. This valve is widely used in water, steam, petrochemical, and thermal systems.

To enhance performance and prevent clogging of Mahab safety valves, proper installation according to the manufacturer’s instructions and alignment with the pipeline are crucial. Using filters or strainers upstream reduces the entry of solid particles and sediment into the internal mechanism. Routine maintenance, including cleaning the disc, spring, and pressure outlet channel, ensures fast and accurate operation. Preventing hydraulic shock, avoiding excessive pressure, using appropriate quality water, and controlling fluid temperature extend valve service life. Following these techniques ensures stable performance, reduced maintenance costs, and network safety in water, wastewater, and industrial systems.
