The Farab rising stem rubber seated gate valve model GVSO16 is designed for full shutoff in water, wastewater, and non-corrosive fluid systems. The body is ductile iron GGG40 with a nominal pressure rating of PN16, and the gate is ductile iron coated with EPDM rubber for corrosion, wear, and high-temperature resistance. The rising stem mechanism provides vertical gate movement with clear visual indication of open or closed position. Flanged ends comply with EN 1092-2, and dimensions follow DIN 3202 standards. Operating range is 0–80°C with a maximum pressure of 16 bar.
The Farab GVSO16 gate valve features a straight-through flow path to minimize pressure drop and maximize system efficiency. The stem is stainless steel, and NBR O-rings provide reliable sealing around the stem. A bolted bonnet allows easy access for maintenance and inspection. The flexible rubber gate prevents leakage and water hammer during closure. Each valve undergoes hydrostatic and leakage testing according to API 598 standards to ensure safe operation, long service life, and complete sealing under industrial conditions.
